About

ok. a couple "loves" of mine while growing up were people, talking, taking pictures, weddings and sports.

now, i tried to get a job where i could do all of that, but it just wasn't happening. so, i settled for 4 out of 5 :)
in all honesty, though, i adore weddings. i will never forget being a flower girl when i was five. oh my i just felt like i had been drawn into the most amazing princess story ever written. when i was 12, i attended a wedding and i almost choked when the bride came down the aisle. she took MY breath away. i couldn't even look at the poor wobbling groom at the end of the aisle. after that wedding, i began a serious, addictive and secret habit: theknot.com-stalking. i would rush to finish my homework so i could look at more "knottie bios." i would skip lunch so i could stay on the computer and finish browsing Vera Wang's newest collection. i would print off pages and pages of coordinating bouquets, dresses and tablecloth linens.
some people, appropriately, thought i was crazy. or just obsessed with getting married. i tried to explain that i wasn't planning my wedding, i just loved looking at weddings! like a teenage boy might like to look at cars!
my plan was actually to become a wedding planner until I discovered how amazing it was to actually take pictures. when i was 14 i shot at my first wedding, and i knew that i was in big trouble ;D i was hooked and there is no career that i would rather be doing! wedding photography is just simply my favorite.
